Press Club South Africa is a non-profit organisation established in 2016, as an engagement platform for those working in the media and communications sectors in South Africa. It is headquartered in Cape Town, with a national footprint. It hosts regular events, which attract politicians, businesspersons, activists and those changing the world, to share their wisdom with members and their guests.
Through a series of national events, The Press Club South Africa aims to provide a dynamic space for open dialogue on the shifts, changes and fluctuations of our current industry, stimulate conversations as to the future role of media and communications. The Press Club South Africa also provides a forum for those starting out to learn from seasoned practitioners, news makers and game changers and vice versa.
Our vision is to be an open and inclusive platform, where all members of the media and communications professions can congregate, be informed, and engage in dialogue that results in credible content for our publics to make informed decisions. Our mission is to capacity build for tomorrow.
